The Active Living Centre (ALC) provides educational and recreational programs, social opportunities and special services to adults 55 and older. The variety of activities and services helps seniors ease into and enjoy a retirement lifestyle by encouraging activity, well-being and social connections.

The ALC offers programs in arts and culture, exercise classes, health and wellness services, lifelong learning classes, multicultural social groups, recreation and leisure activities, special events and opportunities for day trips. The ALC includes a café, offering a variety of healthy meals at affordable prices.

New Member Advantage:
$55 first year

Renewal Advantage:
$50 per year

Fitness Assessment:
$50 one-time

Memberships are valid for one year and are renewable annually, within your expiry month. Membership fee is non-refundable.

The Fitness Assessment is mandatory if you plan to use the Fitness Centre independently. To get started, simply complete a Fitness Centre membership application and PAR-Q form, and provide a note from your doctor giving you permission to participate in exercises in the Fitness Centre. That’s it – you’re ready to get fit and strong in our Fitness Centre using our cardio and strength equipment.
