The North York Seniors Centre’s Creative Art Social Program, generously sponsored by the Rotary Club of North York, has been bringing the joy of art to our community for the past year—and it’s still going strong! This free program introduces members and the public to a variety of art forms, from multi-week workshops to exciting one-day events. By offering these sessions at no cost, we not only inspire creativity but also give the Programs Team valuable insight into the community’s interests, helping NYSC shape even better programming for the future. The Rotary Club of North York, founded in 1991, has 15 diverse members dedicated to humanitarian service and community fellowship. They meet twice a month for breakfast with guest speakers and regularly volunteer locally, like preparing meals for those in need. The club hosts social events throughout the year to build community. New members share their stories, and all are encouraged to attend meetings or visit other Rotary clubs when traveling.
