NYSC Transportation services successfully aligned with other community organizations to form a partnership called iRide. iRide combines the best practices of five Central LHIN agencies to create an integrated transportation services for the community.

The world faced a pandemic, NYSC pivoted our approach to programs and services, transitioned into virtual programming to keep our community socially engaged. Food Security was a top priority for our clients/members and a shopping program was implemented to meet the need. Wellness calls was implemented on a daily basis to stay connected.
NYSC was one of many community services agencies that developed and manned a COVID hotline for seniors, in cooperation with North York Toronto Health Partners and North York General Hospital.
NYSC and the general public reopened its doors to re-engaged the community after the COVID-19 pandemic.
NYSC slowly introduces more in-person events to fight against social isolation in the community, and to reconnect with the community.
