Getting Started
Complete a PAR-Q Form
Provide a doctor’s note of permission
Complete a Fitness Assessment with our Personal Trainer ($50)

Handmade toys, clothing, and unique crafts made by volunteers
Support local crafters and donate yarn for future projects
Volunteer opportunities are available. Help run the Gift Shoppe or assist with programs

Travel & Day Trips
Enjoy fun trips with friends and fellow members
The Active Living Centre organizes day trips and seasonal excursions for members and their friends/families. Spots are limited—early registration is recommended.
Travel Desk
Visit Monday – Friday, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Travel Policies
Payment: Full payment due within 6 weeks of departure; $20 non-refundable deposit required
Refunds: Full refund if NYSC cancels; agency trips follow their policy
Supervision: Travelers needing special assistance must arrange support persons; member rates apply
Seat Assignment: Inform the Travel Desk of companion requests; accommodations made when possible
